The War is Over! As headlines from sea to shining sea proclaimed this fantastic news, the hearts of Americans everywhere rejoiced. God had indeed shed His grace on this nation. Tyranny had been overcome, but not without great cost. As many war-weary troops returned home into New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty herself seemed to cry "well done!" along with the crowds who gathered to welcome them. A Navy F6F Hellcat, Army P-38 Lightning and Marine F4U Corsair roar proudly overhead. In conjunction with the U.S. Legion of Valor, artist John D. Shaw pays tribute to those who served our country in the armed services during World War II.
This Limited Edition Lithograph is personally signed by at least twenty-five highly-decorated World War II veterans from the Army, USAAF Navy and Marines. A profile of each of these distinguished signers is included, along with a certificate of authenticity. The print measures 25"x31" and bears the official Army, Air Corps, Navy and Marines service emblems. A Special General's Edition is available as well, bearing the two additional signatures of active Generals Barry R. McCaffrey and James E. Livingston. Quantities are extremely limited on this collectible and patriotically inspiring piece which may be enjoyed for many years to come! Please see other side for ordering information.
