Few Mustangs are more recognizable to Eighth Air Force enthusiasts than the P-51D Old Crow flown by Clarence "Bud" Anderson. The original painting of his Mustang was commissioned by some of Bud's closest friends and presented to him as a gift. It illustrates Bud and his good friend Jim Browning making a low pass over a snow-covered Leiston runway during the winter of 1944/1945.
