Mike was born in Zimbabwe where he lived for 18 years. In 1978 he moved to the U.K. and studied at the West Surrey College of Art and Design. He moved to the U.S.A. in 1985 and because of his love of aviation, studied to get his A & P license and Pilot's license. Mike is currently restoring a Aeronca C3 "Flying Bathtub". He is married, and along with his wife and son reside in Austin, Texas. Mike's Paintings have appeared on the cover of two aviation books, (P-Screamers by Kevin Grantham, Red Beauty by Harold Stockton) and worked with the Nimitz Museum in depicting historical aviation scenes accurately. Three paintings of Mike's were diplayed by the Nimitz Museum at a Historical Symposium in San Antonio, Texas.
