AN EXCLUSIVE 50TH ANNIVERSARY
LIMITED EDITION COMMEMORATIVE PRINT

War's End is the only authorized limited edition lithograph commissioned and signed by the Nagasaki Mission Commander and B-29 Bock's Car pilot General Charles "Chuck" Sweeney.

This stunning print is accompanied by a broadcast-quality 1 hour, 45 minute video tape documentary of the Mission, 8"x10" black and white wartime photo of the General after the Mission and Certificate of Authenticity on the General's personal 2-star stationery. This work of art commemorates the brave men who flew this mission to end World War II.

The mission over Nagasaki was plagued by a series of problems that began just before takeoff and continued until Sweeney's emergency landing 12 hours later in Okinawa. Yet Sweeney and his crew completed the mission which saved millions of American and Japanese lives by hastening the surrender of Japan. War's End is a tribute to the courage of ordinary men who carried out an extraordinary mission. It also highlights the majestic B-29 Superfortress - a testimony to America's technological leadership.

The artist, Attila Hejja, best known for his dramatic aviation art for NASA, the United States Air Force, and international air forces, has re-created the Nagasaki Mission with meticulous attention to detail. His works have been recognized both nationally and internationally. He won the I985 Hamilton King Award, America's highest achievement award for illustration. His works are also exhibited at the Air Force Art Program in the Pentagon.
